The wait has a date attached to it now. FBISE has confirmed that the result of the SSC Part I and Part II 1st Annual Examinations 2026 will be announced on Wednesday, 29 July 2026 at 11:15 AM. Both classes are declared in the same announcement, so a household with one child in Class 9 and another in Class 10 gets both results the same morning.
If you sat the Matric annual papers this year under the Federal Board, this page covers how to pull your result up quickly, what the marks sheet is telling you, and the decisions that follow within days of the announcement — because for tenth class students, result day and college admission season arrive almost together.
Announcement details at a glance
| Detail | Confirmed information |
|---|---|
| Examination | SSC Part I and Part II, 1st Annual 2026 |
| Announcement date | Wednesday, 29 July 2026 |
| Time | 11:15 AM |
| Board | Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad |
| Official website | www.fbise.edu.pk |
| Board helpline | 111 032 473 |
The board’s affiliated network reaches well beyond the capital — Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, cantonment and garrison schools, cadet colleges, Army Public Schools, and Pakistani community schools operating abroad. All of them draw from the same declaration at the same hour, which is exactly why the official portal slows to a crawl in the first thirty minutes.

Checking your SSC Part 2 result on rezult.pk
Our Federal Board section carries Matric results for Science group and General group candidates alike, and the search is built to load on a weak mobile connection rather than a home broadband line.
Open the FBISE 10th class result page and follow four steps:
- Enter your roll number in the search field, copied exactly from your roll number slip.
- Select the class — choose 10th Class (SSC Part 2).
- Select the exam year — 2026.
- Click the Search Result button.
Your result card appears on the same screen. Save it, screenshot it, or forward it to your parents straight away.
Younger siblings or classmates looking for the ninth class result can use the 9th class result page, and the full Federal Board section links every class and session the board declares, including HSSC and supplementary announcements.
Parents who would rather read in Urdu can use the اردو صفحہ for the Federal Board 10th class result — same search, written the way it would be explained at home.
Before you search, have this ready
| What you need | Detail |
|---|---|
| Roll number | Six or seven digits, printed on the roll number slip issued for the annual exam |
| Class | SSC Part 2 — selecting Part 1 by mistake is the single most common search failure |
| Exam year | 2026, annual session |
| Registration number | Not needed to search, but you will need it for college admission forms |
If the slip has gone missing, your school’s examination clerk holds the board-issued roll number list for your batch. Ask there before guessing digits — a wrong number pulls up someone else’s marks and starts a panic that takes an hour to undo.
Official portal, SMS and the school notice board
The board publishes the result on fbise.edu.pk from 11:15 AM on the announcement day, along with a press release circulated to newspapers and heads of affiliated institutions. That declaration is the record that counts for admission, appeal and verification.
Three routes exist on result day:
- Board website — authoritative, and heavily loaded for the first hour
- SMS service — the board announces the short code with the declaration; candidates who submitted a mobile number at registration may receive the result directly
- School — most Federal Government schools and Army Public School branches display the class-wise list the same morning
A warning that repeats every year and still catches people: pages and numbers claiming to sell early access to results are frauds. Nothing is available before 11:15 AM on 29 July, and no fee gives anyone a head start.
How Part 1 and Part 2 make your Matric total
This is the part tenth class students often work out too late. Under the FBISE scheme, your ninth class result and your tenth class result combine into the Matric aggregate that colleges look at. Class 10 alone is not your Matric percentage.
So when your SSC Part 2 result loads, pull out your Part 1 marks sheet before you judge anything. A student who scored modestly in Class 9 and strongly in Class 10 lands somewhere in the middle overall, and that middle figure is what an admission committee sees. The reverse happens too — a strong ninth class result can carry a disappointing Part 2 into a respectable aggregate.
Add the two totals yourself once, on paper. It takes two minutes and it stops you from applying to colleges on the basis of a number you assumed rather than calculated.
Grading bands on the SSC certificate
FBISE grades against fixed percentage ranges rather than against how the rest of the batch performed.
| Grade | Percentage | Reading |
|---|---|---|
| A+ | 90 and above | Top band |
| A | 80 to 89 | Strong |
| B | 70 to 79 | Good |
| C | 60 to 69 | Fair |
| D | 50 to 59 | Satisfactory |
| E | 40 to 49 | Pass |
| F | Below 40 | Fail |
The board has revised its grading structure more than once in recent sessions, so treat the notification printed alongside your own DMC as final rather than assuming an older scale still applies. Note also that clearing the subject minimum is a separate requirement from the grade — a total alone does not carry you if a paper falls below the pass mark, and science subjects are assessed with theory and practical counted as prescribed.
Science group and General group papers
| Group | Papers at SSC Part 2 | Where it leads |
|---|---|---|
| Science group | Urdu, English, Islamiyat or Ethics, Pakistan Studies, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Computer Science | FSc pre-medical, FSc pre-engineering, ICS |
| General group | Urdu, English, Islamiyat or Ethics, Pakistan Studies, General Mathematics, General Science and the electives offered by the school | FA, ICom, and general group intermediate programmes |
Your DMC lists only what the board has registered against your name. If you studied a subject informally or switched electives without the school updating your registration, the sheet will not reflect it — and that is a school record matter, not a marking one.
Reading the marks sheet properly
Most correction requests come from students who looked at the total and closed the page. Work down the sheet instead:
- Name and father’s name — spelling must match your B-Form or CNIC, because this certificate follows you into college, university, NADRA records and job applications
- Roll number and registration number — write the registration number somewhere permanent, you will need it repeatedly over the next two years
- Subject rows — theory and practical shown separately where applicable
- Practical columns — a blank or zero where you know you performed the experiment is a documentation issue to raise in writing
- Total obtained — add the rows yourself once
- Result status — pass, fail, absent, or withheld
Fixing a name error now is far simpler than fixing it after the final SSC certificate is printed. Students who let a misspelling slide at this stage often end up paying for a correction affidavit two years later.
Rechecking — what it does and does not do
The Federal Board offers rechecking, not re-evaluation. Staff verify that every question carries a mark, that the page totals were added correctly, that the total was carried accurately onto the award list, and that no part of the answer script was left unmarked.
What nobody will do is reconsider whether your answer deserved four marks instead of two. That judgement stays with the original examiner.
The route:
- Apply inside the deadline announced with the result. The window is short — a matter of weeks — and late applications are not entertained.
- Pay the prescribed per-paper fee through the channel the board specifies in its notification. Fee figures change between sessions, so read the current notification rather than repeating what a senior told you.
- Submit with copies of your DMC and roll number slip through the route the board names.
- Wait for the written reply. A confirmed clerical error produces a corrected DMC. No error means the original result stands.
Be selective. Apply where a subject result is badly out of step with your school test record — a student who scored in the seventies all year and lands in the thirties has a genuine reason. Applying across six papers out of general disappointment costs money and usually returns the same figures.
Failed a paper — the second annual route
A fail in one or two subjects does not cost you the year. FBISE conducts second annual examinations for candidates who need to clear failed papers, and the schedule is announced shortly after the first annual result.
Sort these out in the first week:
- Which papers you actually have to repeat — only the failed subjects
- The admission form deadline — it closes fast, and missing it pushes you a full session back
- Fee slabs — normal, late and double-late rates are published, and submitting on the first slab saves real money
- Whether the practical carries forward — confirm with your school if you failed theory only
- Provisional college admission — many colleges admit on condition of clearing the pending paper, but the policy is the college’s own, so ask before assuming
Students in overseas affiliated schools should start this with the school administration immediately, because form submission and fee transfer from abroad take longer than they do inside Pakistan.
Choosing your intermediate stream
The result is out on 29 July and college admissions move quickly after that. A quick map of where each stream leads:
| Programme | Suits students who | Common destinations |
|---|---|---|
| FSc pre-medical | Held their ground in Biology and Chemistry | MBBS, BDS, pharmacy, allied health, biosciences |
| FSc pre-engineering | Scored well in Mathematics and Physics | Engineering, architecture, physical sciences |
| ICS | Enjoyed Computer Science and Mathematics | Software, data, IT, computer science degrees |
| ICom | Have a head for accounts and business | BBA, commerce, ACCA, banking, finance |
| FA | Lean toward languages, social sciences and humanities | Law, education, media, social sciences, civil service preparation |
Two things worth being honest with yourself about. First, choose on the strength of your subject-wise marks, not on what your cousin picked or what carries more prestige at family gatherings. Second, an aggregate that falls short of a pre-medical cut-off is not a verdict on your ability — ICS and ICom students end up in strong careers routinely, and forcing a stream you cannot sustain wastes two years.
Documents to arrange this week
- Printed copy of your online result card, saved digitally as well
- Original DMC, collected from your school once the board dispatches it
- At least two photocopies of the DMC, stored separately from the original
- Your Class 9 marks sheet, for aggregate calculation on admission forms
- B-Form or CNIC copy
- Recent passport-size photographs
- School leaving certificate and character certificate from your school office
Get the school leaving certificate early. Offices are swamped in the days right after a result, and colleges will not process an admission form without it.
Gazette and position holders
The board publishes the result gazette after the declaration — the full list of candidates by roll number across all affiliated institutions. Schools use it as the reference for settling disputes about what was declared, and it is the document to reach for when your online result will not load while classmates’ results do, or when a name or subject error has to be traced to source.
Position holders for the Federal Board are compiled and announced separately from the main declaration. For a routine result check, though, the online search on our 10th class result page is faster than scrolling thousands of roll numbers in a PDF.
Mistakes that cost students time on result day
- Selecting SSC Part 1 in the class dropdown while looking for the Matric result
- Entering a roll number from a previous attempt after it changed
- Believing a forwarded screenshot instead of checking their own roll number
- Paying a page or number that promises the result before 11:15 AM
- Skipping the name spelling because “it is only a marks sheet”
- Letting the rechecking deadline pass while deciding whether to apply
- Filling college admission forms with an assumed aggregate instead of a calculated one
- Waiting for the original DMC before starting admission work, when the printed online result is accepted provisionally by most colleges
Questions students ask
What time exactly is the Federal Board Matric result out?
11:15 AM on Wednesday, 29 July 2026. Both SSC Part I and SSC Part II are declared in the same announcement.
Can I check the result without a roll number?
No. Board records are indexed by roll number, and neither the official portal nor our search page retrieves a result by name alone. Your school office holds the board-issued roll number list.
Are the results on rezult.pk the same as the board’s?
We publish the same declared data in a page built to load fast on a phone. For official use — admission, appeal, verification — the board’s own DMC and gazette remain the authoritative record.
My result says withheld. What do I do?
Withheld status usually traces to an unresolved administrative matter — outstanding dues, incomplete registration data, or a pending inquiry. Start with your school, which can tell you what is outstanding. The board’s helpline, 111 032 473, and its Islamabad office handle cases the school cannot resolve.
Do Science and General group results come out at the same time?
Yes. All candidates are declared in the single announcement, regardless of group.
Can rechecking reduce my marks?
The verification corrects clerical errors in either direction, though a correction that lowers a total is uncommon in practice.
How soon can I apply for college admission?
Most colleges accept a printed online result while the original DMC is being issued. Check each college’s own admission notice, because deadlines in the week after a Matric result are tight.
Does a second annual pass show differently later?
The final SSC certificate records your subjects and marks. What colleges work with is the aggregate you finish with.
For most tenth class students, 29 July is less an ending than a switch-over — one set of exams closed, one set of admission deadlines opening. Check your marks calmly, read every row, add your Part 1 and Part 2 totals before you fill a single form, and raise any error while the correction window is still open.
