How the Ranking Is Built
Positions rest on a 1100-mark aggregate — 550 from SSC Part-I plus 550 from SSC Part-II.
Eligibility filters that catch students out:
- Regular candidates in the annual examination only
- Private and supplementary candidates excluded
- Improvement-of-marks attempts do not feed into the position list
- Pending unfair-means proceedings hold a candidate off the notification until resolved
- Tied aggregates may result in a joint position
This is why the “highest marks in my school” student is sometimes not on the board list at all — the school totals 10th class alone, the board totals both years.

A Realistic Preparation Plan for Top Positions
Position holders in Faisalabad are rarely the students who studied hardest in March. They are the ones who were slightly ahead in August.

Two specifics worth naming. Physics numericals in this board’s papers reward unit-and-formula presentation — write the formula, substitute, then solve, because partial credit exists. And in English, the précis and translation questions are where high-scoring students separate from very good ones.
After Results Are Out
Rechecking covers totalling errors, unmarked questions and skipped pages. It does not re-evaluate the quality of your answers. Fee and deadline are notified by the board with the result.
Supplementary examination lets you clear failed papers within the same academic year, so a college admission is still workable.

Is the Faisalabad Board toppers list published the same day as the result? Usually yes, with the result notification. Verification delays can push it slightly later.
Do Jhang and Toba Tek Singh students compete for the same positions? Yes. Positions are board-level across all four districts.
I appeared as a private candidate and scored very high. Am I eligible? No, private candidates fall outside the position list criteria.
Can I check the result by name instead of roll number? Roll number is the reliable identifier and what our search uses. Name searches produce duplicates in a candidature this size.
What if the result shows “Result Withheld”? That indicates the board is holding the result pending a case or documentation issue. Your school office should contact the board directly.
