Multan Board Matric List of Toppers 2026

Posted on August 5, 2026August 5, 2026 by Sara Khan

Multan Board 10th Class Toppers — Every Question, Answered in Order

Multan Board’s matric position list has stopped being predictable. For years the top slots leaned toward a familiar set of city institutions; lately Khanewal, Vehari and Lodhran candidates have been breaking into the top three often enough that the old assumptions no longer describe reality.

This page is built around the questions students and parents actually send us, roughly in the order they send them.

“Where is the toppers list?”

Right here. Positions are declared for Science and General group separately.

Science group

PositionNameFather’s NameSchoolMarks ObtainedTotal
1st1100
2nd1100
3rd1100

General group

PositionNameFather’s NameSchoolMarks ObtainedTotal
1st1100
2nd1100
3rd1100

Rows are populated from the board’s official position notification. The lists circulating on WhatsApp within an hour of the result each session are not sourced from any board document, and every year a few families celebrate one of them by mistake.

“How do I check my own result without the site crashing?”

Use ours. It reads the same gazette data and holds up under result-day load.

  1. Open the BISE Multan result page
  2. Type your roll number from the admit card
  3. Select the class — 10th Class, Matric and SSC Part-II are the same record
  4. Select the exam year
  5. Press Search Result

The marksheet loads with subject marks, grade, total and result status. General and Science group candidates are both in the system. Urdu version: ملتان بورڈ دسویں جماعت رزلٹ.

“Nothing loaded. Now what?”

In order of likelihood: wrong exam year selected, 9th chosen instead of 10th, a leading zero dropped from the roll number, or the gazette record has not propagated yet — in which case waiting a few hours resolves it.

Lost the roll number slip entirely? Your school office holds the roll number list the board issued for your institution.

“My child topped the school. Why aren’t they on the board list?”

Because the school ranked on 10th class marks and the board ranks on both years together.

The aggregate is 1100 — 550 carried from SSC Part-I and 550 from SSC Part-II. A student who was outstanding in 10th but ordinary in 9th finishes behind a student who was very good in both. There is no mechanism that weights the final year more heavily.

“Who is actually eligible for a position?”

Regular candidates appearing in the annual examination. That is the whole pool.

Private candidates are outside it regardless of score. So are supplementary candidates and students who improved their marks in a later attempt — the improved figure appears on their documents but does not enter the ranking.

If an unfair-means proceeding is pending against a candidate, the board holds them off the notification until the matter is decided. It is entirely possible for a student with a qualifying aggregate to simply not appear on the published list that day.

Where two candidates tie, a joint position may be declared rather than separating them arbitrarily.

“Which districts are competing?”

Four, ranked together with no regional adjustment.

DistrictNote
MultanBoard headquarters, largest candidate share
KhanewalSteady presence in merit lists
VehariGrowing candidature, strong government schools
LodhranSmallest of the four, competitive at the top

“Where were the marks available in the first place?”

Science group, SSC Part-II — 550 marks

SubjectTheoryPracticalTotal
English75—75
Urdu75—75
Islamiyat / Ethics50—50
Pakistan Studies50—50
Mathematics75—75
Physics651075
Chemistry651075
Biology / Computer Science651075

General group, SSC Part-II — 550 marks

English 75, Urdu 75, General Mathematics 75, General Science 75, Islamiyat or Ethics 50, Pakistan Studies 50, plus two elective subjects at 75 each.

“What grade does my aggregate give me?”

GradePercentage band
A180% and above
A70% – 79%
B60% – 69%
C50% – 59%
D40% – 49%
E33% – 39%
Fbelow 33%

Calculated on the 1100 aggregate, not on Part-II alone — which surprises students whose 10th class percentage looks better than the grade they were awarded.

“What separates a position holder from a strong A1?”

Less than students think, and almost none of it is intelligence.

Part-I. A student sitting on 535 out of 550 needs a very good Part-II. A student on 495 needs a near-perfect one, and nobody delivers near-perfect under examination pressure.

Islamiyat and Pakistan Studies. A hundred marks between them, predictable question patterns, and the papers where confident students casually surrender six or seven marks each because they assumed the marks were free.

Numerical presentation. Physics and Chemistry numericals in this board’s papers reward formula, then substitution, then answer. Jumping straight to the number forfeits partial credit even when the number is right.

English as a technique paper. Letter and application formats, précis word limits, translation accuracy. All mechanical, all learnable, all carrying marks that have nothing to do with fluency.

Practicals. Thirty marks across three science subjects, secured before the theory papers start, dependent only on completing notebooks on schedule and knowing your viva.

Written past papers. Written, not read. The binding constraint in a matric paper is speed, and speed only comes from repetition against a clock.

“The marks look wrong. Can I get the paper re-marked?”

No, and this is worth being precise about.

Rechecking verifies the addition on your script, confirms every question was marked and checks that no page was skipped. It is a clerical process. Your answers are not put in front of a fresh examiner for a second opinion.

So the application makes sense when a subject came back far below every mock you sat — a totalling error is plausible. It does not deliver a more generous read of an essay. Fee and deadline are notified by the board with the result.

“I failed a paper. Is the year lost?”

Usually not. The supplementary examination runs within the same academic year, and clearing it keeps most college admission timelines workable. Registration deadlines follow the annual result, and missing the window turns a few months into a full year.

“What about documents and admission?”

NeedWhere it comes from
Official DMCBoard, issued through your institution
CertificateBoard, through your institution
Interim proof for admissionProvisional marksheet from your school
Duplicate DMCBoard office, prescribed form and fee

“A few quick ones”

Toppers announced with the result? Usually, sometimes a little later if verification is still running.

Are Vehari and Lodhran students eligible? Yes, positions are board-wide.

Do practical marks count toward the position aggregate? Yes.

Checking 9th class? Same form, change the class dropdown.

Is the on-screen marksheet official? No — the DMC issued by the board is the document colleges accept.
